Customers can now build private clouds faster and with more confidence.  CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V5.1 has been cloud-enabled for a perfect PaaS for development, deployment and operations of CICS applications.  New capabilities in OMEGAMON V5.1 family provide significant improvements in interface usability and product installation and configuration to mange the cloud environment.  And the new Continuous Integration for System z provided automated z/OS provisioning of test data in a cloud.

The new IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator V3 dramatically lowers storage costs by reducing the need to store data on disk drives in the mainframe.  We have also added this new Netezza technology to the zEnterprise Analytics System 9700 and 9710, a solution that merges fit for purpose and mixed workload capabilities into a single system.  Also Cognos BI 10.2 enhancements will offer a full publish fidelity and visualization coach making it even easier to share and use data.

The new IBM Security zSecure suite V1.13.1 can spot unusual activity before a system is compromised.  It integrates with QRadar SIEM, a security information and event management solution that was recently added to IBM's security portfolio, and monitors for threats with real-time alerts and network behavior analytics.  InfoSphere Guardium V9.0 provides the simplest, most robust solution for assuring the privacy and integrity of the trusted information in the data center and now has new capabilities in Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) and Vulnerability Assessment (VA).
